I photograph weddings for a living. So I've seen more than most. And I can assure you that the gender of the parties is not the issue. It is about love and a desire to say publicly, with your family and friends as witnesses, that the two of you love and commit to each other.
I have photographed straight couples who did not last the honeymoon and I know several gay couples who have been together for decades.
I wish these two ladies all the best. posted 05/17/2008 at 14:06:38
$15,000 in child support. What does that child do every month that it reuqires more money than many folks earn in a year? Holy extravagant! posted 05/16/2008 at 03:02:58
whoa - don't drag the holocaust into this. Whether there is or is not a God and whether or not he or she chose the Jews as special, there is no excuse to systematically take people out of their homes and lock them away and starve and torture them. posted 05/14/2008 at 02:46:44
Gotta love him.
But he could not have gotten a job at many of our finest universities with that attitude about things. And he certainly could not have run for elected office. posted 05/14/2008 at 02:42:53
Nanking. Dresden. the blitz. Auschwitz. Dachau. the crusades. Little Big Horn. Guantanamo.
The trick, the gift, the curse, is to know that it is wrong when it is happening. No matter what the provocation. These things are wrong.
They all happened because someone wanted what someone else had. Oil, land, gold.
And that got tarted up in patriotism and religion! posted 05/06/2008 at 01:24:23

Wow - when did Yoko Ooa get so very old that she is frightened of the past? This video shows John Lennon as he was. She loved him then, as he was, why is that so hard to face now? John loved to turn conventions on their head. posted 04/23/2008 at 10:57:54
The superdelegates are the oligarchy. The wealthy and well connected who get to determine who governs us. Democracy and even the republic mover further and further away for the US of A. posted 04/20/2008 at 21:45:17
If that is a woman she is a conehead. I don't get the "it's his arm thing", but seriously - a pointy headed woman? I am more upset about his Iraq strategy than what he's looking at any time any where. posted 04/10/2008 at 21:39:39
Great. Men can have babies. Now they can do the dishes and vacuum the rugs! It opens a whole new world of opportunity for them all. posted 04/01/2008 at 02:10:33
Well, I agree with the boo's, but it made me want to cry. My favorite game and the person who we should all want to honor. How did we get here? And how many of htose booing voted for him. Twice? posted 04/01/2008 at 02:13:35
Absolutely. Democracy has taken such a beating in recent years in the USA. This is a chance for the Democratic Party to take a dubious party fat cat situation and turn it around to support the democratic choice. hey can support the person who actually has won the primaries and who already has most of the delegates.
