Obama On Hamas Smear: "We Don't Do Nuance Well In Politics"

I think there needs to be a serious overhaul of the current media. The younger generation needs to take note and strive to better what has become a 24 hours 7 days a week Jerry Springer-esque show. That needs to change. Someone also needs to tell the Isralies that they are not beyond criticism. What happened in WWII was sad and a great misfortune it does not give Israel a pass on the wanton destruction they are wreaking on the Palestinians. Not to say that the Palestinians are totally innocent in any of this.

George McGovern Switches To Obama, Urges Clinton To Drop Out

What makes you think he hasn't? Obama can hardly be blamed for what his supporters say. posted 05/07/2008 at 16:40:16
Who said this? Every Obama supporter I've talked to has claimed the opposite. So what exactly is bugging you? I'm sorry your candidate lost. She ran a race that was hell bent on destroying Obama and it back fired on her. She should have stuck to her message and ideas instead of siding with McCain on a gas tax holiday that was going no where. When you consider a state like IN where people have lost their jobs and are having trouble getting around because of the high cost of gas, the answer to that problem isn't a gas tax holiday. Where was the long term solution to this? She offered none. Also the fact that her husband masterminded NAFTA essentially destroyed her. If you want to blame someone for Hillary Clinton's demise then blame the candidate herself. She ran a poor campaign because she was under the impression that it would be a walk in the park. The arrogance was not comming from Obama or supporters of Obama, it was coming from Hillary who felt that she was entitled to the nomination. posted 05/07/2008 at 16:33:10
Then again some people are content to hold on to their anger and let it eat them from the inside out. Like a worm in an apple.

You accuse people who support Obama as being arrogant, but I notice that you have no qualms in disrespecting people. Then you turn around and claim that people are disrespecting you and that Obama supporters are arrogant. I suppose your parents did not teach you that you need to give respect to earn respect. Unfortunately the world will always be infested with people like you, who feel the need to "trash" talk. Sad thing is that there are people who support Obama who will gladly engage in such meaningless activity. Goodbye, and good luck with whatever it is that is eating you. posted 05/07/2008 at 16:26:08

Clinton Camp To Step Up Efforts To Count Michigan, Florida

Now you are bashing him for honoring the DNC's request but you quickly forget that these are the same rules that your candidate agreed to. Why didn't she bring this up before the race? Everyone knew that FL and MI would not count. What is the motivation to bring it out now? posted 05/07/2008 at 09:26:57

Obama Victorious, Clinton On The Ropes

The problem that the education system in the US faces is two fold

1. Lack of schools which translates to larger class sizes. I think the ideal fit is around 30 - 40 students in a class room.

2. Lack of any real punishment in school. I know it sounds harsh but as a kid you have no idea about boundaries and what rules. Nothing that 5 across the face won't cure, but that would be "abuse". Well this how about things like kneeling in front of the class or a rap on the knuckles? While I understand excessive use of force is not necessary, it is necessary to keep a kid honest. Parents are way too sensitive these days.

3. Better after school programs and more parental involvement. Kids believe it or not will not learn anything if parents are not involved and stay on their backs to do their homework and study.

4. Get the kids to study during summer vacation - 2 to 3 hours in the morning. Something as simple as reading, math and science. Also see if you can get them interested in learning an instrument. posted 05/07/2008 at 12:08:51
The guy who is ahead is weak? So how come he's ahead of Clinton? Why is he ahead?
