I think his position on impeachment is moot. That's because he's in the Senate, not the House.

It is up to the House to impeach the President, i.e. by majority vote to charge him with one or more impeachable offenses following consideration by a committee.

Then, and only then, the Senate has to listen to the evidence with respect to the charges passed by the House and to pass judgment.

All Obama has to say is that it's up to the house, and he'll carefully consider any charges and evidence if the case gets to the Senate. posted 07/05/2008 at 17:44:27

Chelsea: Mom Will Be "Better President" Than Dad

Logically, what else could she say? If she said she thought her Mom would not be as good a President as her dad was, that would have been all over the blogosphere and the 24 hour cable channels and subjected to ridicule.

Maybe what she needed to do was point out that her Mom would have the benefit of an additional 16 years of lessons learned. That would not insult her dad while playing into her Mom's "experience" rationale. But maybe the fact that she missed that opportunity is an indication that she really does not belong out there doing what she is doing, as she is clearly not comfortable at, or apparently well-suited to, partisan campaigning.

She also appears to be no threat to continue the family dynasty, and that's fine too.

While I often found (and find) myself rooting for teams that played against yours, I knew from snippets I read here and there that there was a lot more to you than just being an great athlete. Obama Endorsed By Bill Richardson

Whom to endorse for the Presidency of the United States is a little big to decide on the basis of a previous appointment. He also was an elected Congressman, so don't fall for the idea that he owes Clinton everything.
