Obama Aligns Foreign Policy With GOP

Wouldn't it be awful for Obama to have evoked the the Clinton era - that one of peace and prosperity of the 90's. I was in my 20's in the 1990's, was able to by a house by age 25, save the maximum in my 401K, and have the peace of mind of feeling in financial control of my life with no fear of job loss, as the market was favor of the employee during the 90's. Jobs were so plentiful, employer's were competing for employees. Yeah, wouldn't that be awful again to have those conditions. For having been lucky enough to have benefitted from that era, I have remained on a path of financial stability my entire adult life. President Clinton didn't get it all right, but he got a lot right, and I for one am willing to bet Hillary Clinton will, too. posted 03/29/2008 at 20:11:48
Which explains your lack of perspective. I think most people here of "tiffshelton's" ilk no nothing more of the Clinton era than the Rush Limbaugh/right wing talking points used to try to bring them down. You should have been so lucky as to have enjoyed the peace and prosperity of the 90's. AP: Why Wasn't The Truth Good Enough For Hillary?

Don't I remember somewhere along the line Barack Obama touting himself as a product of the civil rights march in Selma Alabama when in fact he had been born years before this march. Another words, puffing up or inflating his story in order to get more mileage. Sound familiar. This thing with Clinton was the exact same thing and trying to be used for mileage by a badly wounded Barack Obama with his very real pastor/church problem in deflecting the conversation. It may work temporarily, but it's not going to work in the long run as this Wright thing is out there and not going away, especially in a general election. Obama has absolutely no chance of being elected after that, whatever delusional thinking you may have about the same. posted 03/26/2008 at 12:43:40

Why Did Obama Change His Name?

You are falsely associating Barack Obama's association with a radical form of black liberation theology with black churches whereas this has no association with more traditional mainstream black Christian churches. You are misrepresenting the circumstances as was Barack Obama in his speech in which he tried to tie in his association with this pastor and the radical teachings of this church with racism. The only reason Barack Obama made a speech on racism was because he had to deflect the spotlight from the quesitons that focused on his decisions and judgments and make it about a societal problem, a pretty slick move as some people are actually buying into it. I think that there are many things now that will be questioned of Obama, such as his wife's statement about not being proud of this country in her adult life as well as this seeming movement toward the "black identity" being sought by Obama with the move to using his traditional African name, fair or unfair, as many people are most certainly skeptical of who this man really is, certainly not necessarily the race transcender that he was portraying himself as. posted 03/23/2008 at 14:07:52

Gallup: Obama Retakes Lead Over Clinton

You are gauging this race on statistics from 6 months ago. Hillary Clinton may have high negatives, but I dare say Obama's negatives going forward will make Hillary Clinton's look like positives. Whether he gets the nomination or not, Obama is done - toast, and should he be the nominee, it's going to be a landslide Republican win and ugly. posted 03/23/2008 at 10:31:16
What does that have to do with an advisor to the Obama campaign being involved in tampering in the private information of the presidential candidates and breeching national security?

By the way, the fairytale is that Obama pastor problem had anything to do with race relations in this country. It had to do with he and his wife's decision to associate themselves with a radical form of black liberation theology and radicalism that has nothing to do with mainstream religion in either the white or black communities. If you ask me, Obama changed the subject away from the question, which was why did he choose to associate so closely with this pastor and his church and knowing the radical philosophy of both his church and pastor for 20 years. Instead, the politician in him took over and made this about race. The only reason he spoke about race, folks, is because he had to. He had no other choice when he got bagged with this church. posted 03/23/2008 at 10:27:27
This must be one of those educated intellectuals supporting the Obama campaign. posted 03/23/2008 at 10:22:07
Funny, where is that big headline on the breach of Obama's passport. I can't even locate it now to post on. It was of momnumentous importance the other day plastered all over the site. Funny, CNN still finds the story matters. Another one of Obama's brilliant team.
