My son just came home in pretty good condition it feels like right now, mentally I am speaking. His family had a rough time while he was gone though. The school shooting of the teenage boy who said he was gay and was killed happened at my grandson's school and he needed his dad. I was always dead set against the war and what will always haunt me is not that as you state "Hillary could have voted against it". It was the glee that she expressed when she voted for it. Here I was with no inside info at all and I KNEW that there was no reason at all for that war. I tried to find those articles that were less biased and eager to go to war and read Common Dreams and Information Clearing House. She had a chance to study the facts and to vote against the war. Where was she on these important issues. Hillary was eager to go to war and she would lead us forward into more... I know it. She was just too darn happy about starting that first one. She also has another problem for me. She isn't honest. Period. The pant suits, the clap clap point point are things I can get by with but I can't trust her and that is important to me. I had the great joy of going with FOUR of my adult children to the Colorado Caucus and .... we were oerjoyed to cast our ote for Senator Obama. I am a life long Democrat raised in Indiana on a farm by good people. Let me assure you, from the bottom of my heart that we "...would vote for Senator Barack Obama , but never Hillary!". Sen. I am a white middle class white lady the same age as Hillary and I watch the SOBU and enjoy it so much. I raised four wonderful adopted Black children and they are fine young adults now in their 30's. I am so proud of them and do my best to be a good fair minded person... Why can't we rejoice in our country and the fine man that Barack Obama is and just be happy that this man wants to be our president. I am so dissapointed in Tavis and not just because of color... It is his ego about this that disturbs me... you certainly came up with some good points. Who doesn't enjoy the honest approach that Dick Gregory can gie but again I can see that loop being played and you know it. THis is not just a black issue... this is an American issue and it would hae been used against Barack... !!
