I lived overseas many years primarily in Thailand beginning with two years in the Peace Corps. I was a field supervisor in Thailand with the U.S. Refugee Program on contract with the State Department. I was transferred by state department to Thailand while working in Malaysia assisting (Vietnamese boat people). I was an instructor in Iran during the time of the Shah at a military base. My first introduction abroad was in South Vietnam in the U.S. Army (66-68). I was a Passport Agent/Examiner in California My work experience has been in both public and private sectors.

I studied literature, drama and education receiving a B. A. from the State University of New York at Geneseo. Later I attended Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona earning an MBA in International Management.

I have written about my experiences overseas in three works of fiction. I have also written a play and two screenplays.
