My experience exactly. Pennsylvanian is even more racist than Michigan [my state] if that is possible. If I could, I would sell both states to Canada, and they would love it. posted 04/23/2008 at 09:30:10

I have already done so. I do differ with you, though, on the advice to come out negative and angry like Hillary. It is that old politics that must go, and you don't overcome it by becoming it. Despite the difficulty of the slog, and the meanness of the old Hillary politic, principle ought to rule us. I do, though, fully understand the feelings you are experiencing.

Now, though, we need to focus on why the Republicans love Hillary. It is overwhelming. Scaife even, is warming up to Hillary. Why? Because she has surrendered to Scaife's philosophy [I use the term loosely]. Why does the NC Republican's have an add ready to go that is in essence a Hillary ad? Because she is a closet Republican, that's why. Why does Joe Scarborough, Pat Buchanan, Bill Benet, et al, get nearly orgasmic when they speak of Hillary? Because they know that even a weak candidate can beat a person whose negatives are higher than her positives.

But Scaife? She must be kidding. She is back to her old self: the liar. posted 04/23/2008 at 09:25:12
And even if she claims to have raised $2.5 million last night, I can tell you that Obama can call me and his other supporters and we will, at his request, make sure that he finally reaches the $100 million in one month. I have been going along making $25 and $50 donation, so I can kick it up a notch to $200 to $250 any time I desire. I challenge Obama supporters to do the same. posted 04/23/2008 at 09:17:51

Pennsylvania Exit Polls: Primary Results

If she can't blow Obama out in Pennsylvania, the northern Alabama, where can she win? Fact is, she is a big loser and a still a liar as shown by her Bosnia story and her 911 Chelsea story and a bunch of other lies she has even admitted on TV in front of the world. The question obtains, why wold any sane person [Listen up, Pennsylvanian voters] vote for an admitted liar? I am so glad the election is over. I don't think I will ever again think of the state of Pennsylvania. It is the butt of America to me, which needs wiping clean. posted 04/22/2008 at 22:50:02

A Letter to Karl Rove

It may be true that Bush will pardon Rove. But let history show that this administration was criminal, and that criminals try to protect one another. Rove is a lying piece of guana, amoral in character, and Nazi-like in his behavior. I expect to see a federal indictment handed down sometime soon, taking this little dough-like boy out of action. Yes, he may escape untimate responsibility on earth, but there is a sure reaconing coming, I can assure you. But the Concgress ought to take this little pugdy pedophile out of action for a year or more. posted 04/22/2008 at 07:53:56

Top Clinton Strategist Defends Clinton Slam On Democratic Activists

What a lot of you are missing is tha there are perhaps millions of us our here that are not voting parties at all. I vote character and policy, not party. I am a firm supporter of Obama, with money and all. But I haven't given a single dime to the DNC because they have refused to even mention the words habeus corpus, and I said that I would not send them a dime until they make a serious move to reverse that issue. I am not a Democrate: I am an Obama supporter. Those are two different things. Like storeyy above, I believe the figure is much higher than the figures mentioned. Actually, I have found the same phenomenon on MSNBC, especially Chris Matthews. A stop watch and a little tally demonstrates that even though Chris is sometimes accused of favoring Obama, it is not true and most of the comments and segments on his program are pro-Hillary. Sometimes they are subtle, but most of the time, easily counted. Positive Hillary comments and remarks outnumber Obamas nearly three to one. posted 04/20/2008 at 23:29:58

Hillary Clinton Slams MoveOn With Karl Rove's Lies

Yes, it seems like Hillary has driven over the cliff on this one. And nothing could please me more. But you lefties of the party might want to help our candidate get ready to weather the onslaught of the charge that Obama represents the far left radicals of the party, even to the point of calling him Marxist. Sure, you say, that is silly. Yeah, but it will work with doltish voters who don't know Marx from Karl Rove. posted 04/19/2008 at 07:59:33

Obama's Ayers Issue

I think you might be sticking your head in the sand a bit on this point. Ridley is right, and this is not the first time this stuff has arisen. Just within the last week, two neo-con sleaze have used the word Marxist in reference to Obama, and the connection with Ayers is just the fodder that Kristol and Rove, the two who used that word to describe Obama, need to slander and attempt to destroy him. Swift-boating is not over, and will soon be coming.

One thing that Rove and Kristol should know, however, is that even if they could show that Obama had lunch with Karl Marx, it would not change my vote or opinion one iota. Kristol and Rove both also have a large "K" in their names, and are far more closely related to Marxism than Obama ever could be. So their ploy is neutralized before it starts as cynicism and pernicious hatred, two things that both Kristol and Rove excel at. posted 04/19/2008 at 07:53:10

An Obama-McCain General Election Agreement: Neutering The 527s

I agree in principle with wildgeese. I would like to think that there is a way to neutralize the 527's, but this simply plays into the wicked and devious mind of Karl the Commie Rove. They will find a way to overcome the limitations, whether it be by having Bechtel give them a billion dollars or import billions from some foreign sheik. All in all, I think Obama should complete the race in the same manner as he has conducted it thus far: on the small donations of millions of voters around this great nation. It is exhilarating to experience, for the first time in a generation, a kind of power that is diffused throughout the formerly powerless. Will Andy Stern Repudiate Violence In the Union Hall?

This "little" story will soon be discovered to be one of the biggest movements of the modern era: corporate "unionism." By that I mean that corporations will use the very same tactics that they have used in Central and South American countries to attempt to quell the nascent labor movement that is growing across the world. The Economic Hit Men see the handwriting on the wall, and want to invest billions to destroy the unions just as their wicked ancestor Ronald Reagan did back in the 1980s.

I am afraid that this will pass with little or no comment or attention, though it is the early clear evidence of the jackals that business is willing to use to harm and, yes, kill union workers. Corporations have been doing this in Colombia, Panama and Equador for decades, not to mention Iraq and Saudia Arabia. There is an ominous cloud on the horizon, in my opinion, and this incident is but the early precursor to violent conflict between corporations and labor. posted 04/16/2008 at 09:56:44

Why Wall Street Socialism Will Fail

You are right, Margalo. In fact, the one world government that the Bible-thumping fundamentalists keep harping about has already been realized, but they are so dumb as to not see it. It is the American Empire, a financial hedgenomy established by immoral means by dominating entire countries using everything from World Bank loans, to the American intelligence agencies to outright murder, as in the cases of Omar Torrijos, Panama, Jaime Roldos, and Hugo Spadafora. This is a sinister cabal headed up by such criminal minds as Rudolph Shultz out in San Francisco, Bechtel Corp, Bush Sr. is part of the same network. Cheney is instrumental in using the powers of our government to enrich his corporate friends and the American Empire. What Eisenhower warned us about is not future; it is here now. They are in the business of dominating countries around the world for the direct benefit of their corporate interests, and the American people are scoffed at and mocked. We will soon hear Karl Rove and William Kristol begin their onslaught against Obama, for they are the spokespersons for American Empire and see Obama just as they saw Omar Torrijos. And they are not at all reluctant to use the same strategies to do away with him, too. All this is outlined in the book by John Perkins, "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man." Every patriotic American ought to read that book and prepare themselves for warfare against this evil world rule. posted 04/16/2008 at 16:17:36

I agree, Boot, but the Obama campaign [who I support, I might add] seem singularly brutishly stupid when it comes to picking up on issues that could erode her claims. I have stood by amazed at how they missed so many opportunities to make hay with Hillary's anti-labor behavior, Bill's union-busting activities in Colombia, Mark Penn's union-busting profession, and yet the Obama team is so dull that they cannot seem to pick up on such things. Thus, Hillary pulls off the biggest sham in all of political history: that she is the working man's friend. I have but one word for that: baloney. Wise up, workers of Pennsylvania. This person will take your jobs away and destroy any unions that you might still have. Does anyone think that Mark Penn would not have a prominent place in a Clinton administration? Bill Clinton Flashback: "All These Economically Insecure White People...Are Scared To Death"

That is an easy one. Hillary does not go to church except to convince voters that she may have some kind of religion. But in fact she would not know a Christian if she saw one. This is a non-religious person posing as a religious one for political convenience. The so-called "Compassion Forum" proves my point: she could never answer a serious questiion about faith and religion if she had a year to research it. As for compassion, here is the answer:

"As it is written, 'Jacob have I love and Esau have I hated.' What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not. For he says to Moses, 'I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have COMPASSION on whomever I will have COMPASSION."... Bushes Pay Taxes on $923,807 Income

Well, *almost* right. They paid 9% to charity, and most of it to their own personal private charity foundation, from which they spend little or nothing. So, for their "tithe" they probably spend less than 2%. The same can be said for all those pols, like Cheney, et al, whose charitable giving is so paltry as to be an embarrassment to normal people.

I am a pastor who ministers to a congregation of very modest earners. I would imagine that our people only average around $40,000 or less per family, and some far less. I can tell you from fiscal reports that nearly 95% of my people are meeting the meaure of 10 percent offerings -- and that on gross income, not net!

In light of this, my people are far more honorable than any of these cheap folks. if we measure right, my people are far more giving than even Bill Gates, who gives less than one percent of his income to real charities!

I am really tired of the world dissing the good people of America, which my members represent. They are generous to a fault, sometimes, because they rightly know that their giving is going toward the work of the church and its ministries and the cause of Christ. Stop highlighting the so-called "charitable" giving of the rich plutocracy, when in fact they are actually cheap and paltry in their less-than-generous "generosity."

But if the Obama people are so ignorant as to miss this opportunity, maybe it is better that he loses. For Clinton to present herself as the laborer's friend and a union supporter is a huge joke. She is a union buster, and Mark Penn and Bill Clinton are her foot soldiers who will enter the administration if she somehow [god forbid] wrestles the nomination away from the winner. All one needs to do is to read just a bit of John Perkins "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" to realize just how deeply sinister our meddling in Colombian politics and economics has been and continues to be. Knowing the wicked intrustion of our government in league with multi-national corporations who have raped that economy and ruined their environment ought to cause every American to rise up and replace this administration and sweep our house clean. This is not "free trade" at all; this is economic warfare and blatant emperialism by the neo-cons and their water boy George Bush. Hillary is right on with all of this, as evidenced, not by her words, but by the more important criterion of who she hires for her administration: Bill, who is up to his neck in the oppression of unions in Colombia, and Mark Penn, who goes further still and gives advice on how to destroy unions. Not only that, but the most important element in this whole episode is getting lost, and it is the express intention of Clinton and Penn to do so. It has to do with the union-busting for which Penn's lobbying firm is renowned. The Colombian government is using violence, including killing, against trade unionists in that country. Penn is an accomplished union buster; Clinton is exactly the same, save for the "accomplished" part. As soon she were [if it were possible] to get the Whitehouse, that would be the last mention of unions or laborers in the USA. She loves NAFTA, CAFTA and all other unfair and unfree trade agreements. This guy is working for countries that are totalitarian and oppressive of it's people. Just a quick Google trip to trade unionism in Colombia will show you what Penn, et al, are trying to do and what horrible lengths they will go to. The country is racked with conflict, with trade unionists being favorite targets for death, disapperarances, kidnappings and the like. It is an effort by American and European multi-national corporations to take advantage of the chaos with their Shock Doctrine. Penn is actually a soldier in this war, making it possible to kill off union workers and to grease the way of his rich corporatist "friends." It is the will of the American government, in the treaty provisions, to use any force necessary to rid Colombia of any unions, and to privatize as much government capital that they can. Does this all sound familiar? It sure does. This is the SOP for the Bush and Republican administrations. And Hillary is hosting and cozying up to that very machine. He is backing those who are killing and violently oppressing workers in Columbia. This is not his first, though. His firm is well known as the most vicious opponent of labor throughout the world.

How is it that Ohioans and laborers from Pennsylvania can actually support Hillary is quite beyond me. It seems some sort of blindness that I cannot explain. Hillary could care less about working people, and her aggressive support for NAFTA and her support of Mark Penn's violent anti-labor activities is un-American and morally offensive. That is what Bill was talking about, was it not? [That's irony folks]

A much bigger concern is why the Obama campaign has not gone out all over Pennsylvania and Indiana with the truth about Hillary Clinton's claims to be the laboring man's candidate. Only Orwell could invent such an antithesis! When will Obama's people go for the crack in her fascade about being for laboring people. Her campaign manager, Mark Penn, is CEO of Burston-Marsteller, which is one of the most vicious union-busting, labor hating firms in the world. What is wrong with Obama's folks? They know this, don't they? Or were they all born after 1995 and can't relate to things pre-911? Do a search for CINTAS Corp. and discover the union-busting activity of Hillary's campaign manager. For the first time in my 65 years, I feel that my $20 and $30 donations are actually having an impact. When I hear this stuff and how desparate Hillary and her rich corporate friends are to wrestle their own way at any cost, including the party and the constitution - and her own integrity - I think that she is really the same as the Republicans. My reaction is to raise my donations to Obama from $20 to $40. That may sound paltry to Hillary's ears, but if one takes a look at it, I am doubling my contributions. That would mean that Obama has the potential to raise more than $75 million a month if others did the same And I warn Hillary and Company that if they keep up the drumbeat of poisonous venom, I am fully able to move my donations to Obama up to the $107 average for his supporters. Also, the Clinton campaign called this morning for an apology for someone's chararcterization of the Clinton campaign as like McArthy, of a bygone era [whoever did so was, ironically, right on target.] But if that comment deserves an apology, surely Carvilles reference to Judas and Christ deserve more than an apology -- a firing. When will these people go away?

Since it is March Madness time, perhaps a basketball analogy is in order. The Clinton campaign reminds me of the team that has lost the game for 9/10s of the game and now, needing to resort to desparate measures, is willing to foul every time the opponent gets the ball. It almost always fails, and bores the tears out of the fans [voters]. What it shows is that the Clintons are willing to sacrifice America, the political process, the Democratic party, the Hispanic voters, the black community and just about everything else to achieve their blind ambition. posted 03/24/2008 at 10:17:46
