I am a writer of songs who is branching out into the blogosphere. I attended the Naval Academy of Music in Norfolk, Virginia as a Marine, and have worked in variety of (let's face it) low-level positions in and out of corporate America. As a piano player, I was hired to play what has come to be known as the Negro National Anthem, LIFT EVERY VOICE AND SING, at the 50th Anniversary of the Mt. Vernon, New York, branch of the NAACP, which was attended by Dr. Martin Luther King's father. The keynote speaker was Charlene Hunter-Gault of PBS. I like to read, play chess, and I am studying computers.
