You have nothing good to say about McCain...not surprised. So scared Repubs won't win this election and you should be.

1. Dems are 3 out 3 so far in winning long standing GOP seats
2. Obama ahead in national polls against McCain
3. Obama policies take into account the masses of people when McCain's only cater to a few...

I think Senator Obama is fighting her well - by not not "fighting" her. He is ignoring her and is moving on to the general election. That's something we Obama supporters and other true supporters of the Democratic party should do as well.

The focus should be to bring to light what McCain's agenda will be, what the Republicans' agenda, in general, will be for the future of this country. You know, Moses had to wander in the wilderness with the chosen people of Israel because the old and elderly among them were unwilling to move forward and begin a real life for the people. Once the old and elderly died off, Moses was finally able help the people begin that real life.

Awareness, Acceptance, Action - let's be aware of the actual facts; accept the realities, challenges and possible solutions; and act on those in a systematic way towards meeting our goals.

Is Clinton Looking For An "I Told You So" Moment?

These Republicans you mentioned have to do that to make their candidate, McCain, look stronger than he is. They all talked so much trash against McCain during the primaries (or they simply ignored him) so they can't talk about him positively now. They can on talk AGAINST someone; against Obama (so let's push Hillary). What's ironic is that if Hillary and McCain are supposed to be so strong, why would you need someone (a pundit) to say that about them? Shouldn't it be clearly demonstrated without anyone saying it? posted 05/14/2008 at 07:51:02
Actually, I believe Clinton should continue to run if only to confuse, delay or otherwise, distort the Republicans' strategy against the Democrats in a presidential run. They haven't had the guts to pick a VP yet because they don't know who they will be up against; which is already a point of weakness in the Republican strategy that Democrats can speak on right now and in the GE. Sounds like Hillary is doing her part already to redeem herself... :-) posted 05/14/2008 at 07:43:14

The big question is will Clinton plan to repudiate and denounce the actions of 4 white women and 2 white men in the West Virginia torture case of Megan Williams, a young black woman they kidnapped, raped and was prepared to kill if she didn't escape? I believe WVa primaries are coming up the 5/13: Since she believes the Rev Wright situation is something worth putting her 2 cents in on, then let's see if she will do it with this case. Something tells me she will "not repudiate nor denounce nor reject" the actions of these people for fear of losing a majority of the white vote she plans to get for the remaining races. Clinton has no balls, will never have balls.

Dem leaders know that Sen Clinton and her camp started and instigated the nonsense this race has become; making this race about race, creating unnecessary gender gaps, perpetuating Republican talking points and ultimately playing to the racially motivated fears of a few voters in a few states.

The Dem leaders always had the power to stop Clinton's nonsense; tell Senator Clinton and her camp that they have 2 options: she can take the high road going forward or we (the Dem party), will knock her off the road altogether ( and she won't be returning to it). Naturally, Clinton is playing to the racial and sexual fears of many of her supporters. Most of the people she attracts to her campaign are those who are historically known for not truly thinking for themselves or trusting their own thoughts on different issues, especially issues which determine whether they just survive in the society or thrive in it. Clinton had to exploit this because she knew she had nothing on Obama (from the beginning) and as he won steadily throughout the race, she felt had to resort to the desperate measures of race and sex baiting. Right or wrong? That's up to you to decide. But, Clinton supporters should stop pretending that Clinton has any kind of presidential anything about her when she is behind in the votes and delegates, can't manage her campaign effectively or with real leadership and is already in the lying business when it comes to the accomplishments she has achieved . Is Hillary Clinton Push Polling?

Sounds like you've been watching too many MSM new programs, McCain will enjoy the positives by rejecting ads and enjoy the impact of these ads as well? Pretty filmsy conclusion. Here's some real logic: If McCain, the presumptive Repub party leader, says to stop running the ads and those Repubs keep running them anyway, THEN it demonstrates that McCain has no influence or persuasive ability to get people in his own party to comply with his wishes. A McCain term doesn't mean a 3rd Bush term. A McCain term represents an even worse term than a Bush term judging from this situation. Let's see- his temper, the gaffes, this; he's already making it easy for Obama to beat him into the ground... posted 04/24/2008 at 21:39:40

Dems On North Carolina GOP Attack Ad: "Racist Gutter Politics"

I second that Amen! Wright was a Marine, he's more American and has more of a right to question America than the mostly draft dodging, would-never-be-caught-dead-in-the-armed-forces Republicans that are accusing him of being anti-American. Republicans are so afraid to be up against Obama for the GE. They should be! :-) posted 04/23/2008 at 22:16:16

Sad Day for Journalism if Murdoch Swallows Newsday

Murdoch taking over Newsday; what a shame or is it?
I was born and raised on LI; many people of my generation (30-40) have since left LI (most couldn't afford it). So who was left: their parents (50-70) with Archie Bunker mentalities and rich folks (also with Archie Bunker mentalities, just more subtle with it). The remaining residents have absolutely no power to change anything because the town halls are inundated with white folks (with the Archie Bunker mentalities, but through corporate training have been taught how be nice & friendly while maintaining the mentality). Thus, FOX News' Murdoch can rush in to get Newsday with little or no resistance to existing LI residents :-) posted 04/23/2008 at 22:00:39

Surrender, Integrity

Chez, I agree with your assessment of tv MSM...I've decided to turn it off myself. Looks like the same takeover in talk radio is occurring in tv news. When people have been hanging on to these tv news jobs so long, just like any person who has been a good paying job for years, they find it difficult to stand with integrity when it really counts.

But we, whom feel the pain of this downspiral of our news sources, should look at this as an opportunity to fill that niche of truth-seeking and truth-telling, no matter how much we may have to struggle to form it. Here's an idea: they have the "no spin zone". We should have the "no propaganda zone". We present the actual facts, you decide. No commentary by overpaid white men (or overpaid anyone for that matter). No hiring of people from old news networks unless they have been fully "vetted". :-) Sound good? posted 04/23/2008 at 17:34:35

Pennsylvania Exit Polls: Primary Results

Special circumstances, call for a special person who can bring everyone together to overcome those circumstances. Obama will be the next president, no doubt about that.

MSM: So our propaganda tactics worked on PA primary voters :-)

Clinton: It damn well better work, I paid you guys enough; and now, my campaign is in the red for it!

MSM: Don't worry Hillary. Now that we know this works, we will continue the propaganda in the same vein next week.

Clinton: Well, good. Do you expect to get paid more money. If so, you must give me free press to gravel to anyone who would contribute more cash to my campaign.

MSM: We'll do! posted 04/22/2008 at 21:12:42

GOP Strategist Says Racism Would Give McCain 15% Edge on Obama

There's something inherently racist about the fact that Mr. Mitchell won't even mention the name of the Republican strategist he speaks of in this article, so Mr. Mitchell is obviously speaking from first-hand knowledge of the pathology of some white people. This "Republican strategist" he speaks of also understands the core white person psyche and how it drives their behavior and actions; that's why he\she plans to exploit this knowledge to get a Republican back in office. Any Republican president will do. Then the Republicans will go back to the business of oppressing as many of the masses of black, brown, yellow, red and white Americans as they can.

Many Democrats know this is what the Clintons have become: exploiters of those with no real voice. Why do think we are so passionate about getting Obama in office? All you Republicans that fall under the 99 percentile of wealth in this country need to wake up and smell the coffee...after the Republicans (I mean the ones whom truly count in this "free market system") take all they can from the working and middle class, they are coming after all of you who may fall in the 80-99 percentile of wealth...then you'll be crying for help but you won't get any :-) Good luck Republicans, enjoy your childhood... posted 04/22/2008 at 11:03:37

Wall Street Journal managing editor stepping down

This gentleman was probably not willing to "sell out" just to make more money for Murdoch's WSJ. If he mostly corresponded overseas, he probably has a viewpoint that is much more global, real even; so he's not interesting in playing silly propaganda games... posted 04/22/2008 at 07:38:50

Hillary Clinton On Olbermann: Laughs Off 'Unholy Alliance' With Democratic Antagonist Scaife

" They certainly don't agree with me on many of my positions and I was dumbfounded both to have been invited and then to have been endorsed. But I do believe in redemption, Keith. I believe in death bed conversions and I think it's possible for anyone to see the error of their ways. So, I'm bringing people together as we speak. Anyone who doubts my ability to bridge the most incredible chasms can point to those recent events."

Judging from clinton's logic about this scaife guy, she should be saying that it's okay to meet with leaders like Iran, N. Korea, etc. without pre-conditions (but she insists on saying the opposite). Your behavior or actions are not very decisive or presidential, sen clinton... posted 04/22/2008 at 08:01:27

Clinton emphatically says Obama can win White House

It's obvious that if Senator Obama had the choice he would love to talk about the issues that are important to the American people. So these comments I'm reading that mock Senator Obama ("he is supposed to be the Dem frontrunner...") as if he had the choice on what to be asked is absolutely stupid.

It was obvious that ABC news does not want him to be president, let alone win the Dem nom. So what? ABC news along with the rest of MSM is becoming more obsolete by the minute. They will be put out of their misery soon... posted 04/17/2008 at 08:55:03
