Memo to Democrats: Talk More About Education

Reagan got the attention of top the GOP by cutting funds to schools when he was govenor of California. Before he came along California had one of the best public educational systems in the country. When he became president he diverted federal funds to schools, thats why we have all these bonding issues today. That is the main reason I haven't voted republican in twenty years. I just do not understand why republicans hate our public schools. I know that the teachers union is part of thier hatred but it doen't make sense to hurt our kids just because you hate unions.
