First the HRC campaign says that Richardon's endorsement (which they woo'd with determination) was no big deal - once they lost it - obvious sour grapes, then Carville tries to discredit Richardson, presumably to try to save the remaining Hispanic votes. Doesn't anyone realize that there is still a problem with Race in America? Ignoring it doesn't let it go away. It would be nice if we were all part of the American Race - but we are not there yet. And judging from this election season, it is apparent that we haven't even turned the corner.

Majority Americans seem to have awakened from a stupor to say "Oh my god, do these people really listen to this stuff? , I had no idea this was going on, I thought this racism thing was over long ago, what are they talking about, don't we have parity yet?" NO WE DONT, and as TriniGirl suggests - if we don't talk about it, we will choke on it. Using the "muslim" line is simply an easy out for those who would rather not vote for an African-American or American/African. It's OK, but throw off your coward's cape and just say so.
