I think your argument is weak. The KKK is a exclusively white organization openly racist "that are best known for advocating white supremacy and acting as vigilantes" while the Crips and the Bloods are criminal gangs, mostly African-American but not exclusively..

You are right. Me too I prefer to be criticized by people who think like me and support my point of view.

Problem is that hanging around with people that are always validating your view of existence is certainly more stunting to your growth than hanging around with people that constantly criticize you. The former will give you a warm fuzzy feeling of acceptance while the later will teach you how to think for yourself and build your character.

I am a 49-year old white man. I have seen men standing up for women and women's rights more often than that I can recount. Hey, I have even seen women standing up for men and men's rights.

You have to be very careful with this argument. It can be used to justify anything. I could say that the students were right in saying that a drunk woman is "asking for it" because as a man, I have to stand up for them.

For the record, I think that sexism has been used against Senator Clinton in this campaign. I also think that racism has been used against Senator Obama. If you want to waste your time arguing which is worse or more common, be my guest. I have more interesting and constructive things to do.

This is why I think that this article is a waste of bandwidth. It does not bring anything new to the debate. Let's talk about something meaningful, say, Obama's pastor.

To vote for Senator Clinton because she is a woman (or white) is stupid. To vote for Senator Obama because he is a black (or a man) is equally stupid.

I do not like Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice for her political opinions, not because she is a woman. I do not like Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi because of her gender but because she waste energy by using a bigger plane than she really needs.

I have no doubts that if Senator Clinton lied about being under sniper fire in Tuzla and lost credibility, it is all because of white men.

If she thought that the nomination would be in the bag by February 5 and she would not need a long-term strategy, it is all the fault of white men.
