My biography is simple. A former GOP SUPPORTER, GOP MEMBER who finally got sick and tired of where the party is headed. I am pro choice, pro integration, pro gay rights, pro right to die, pro evolution. I tried to be a moderate supporter of the Republican Party to no avail. I picked my family up and moved them to the absolute middle of GOP country in NE Tennessee. Am I alone in my crusade? Perhaps. I think what is best is to honestly look at the issues, and how they affect everyone. The whole problem with partisanship started for me with the Bush administration's tactics toward issues such as the Patriot Act, the "war on terror" and how polarizing the Bush administration has become. It still seems like there is overtones of the "Good Ol'Boy Network" running rampant in the hallowed halls of our nation's capital. The dirty tactics of Scooter, the fear mongering of Cheney, the foolishness of McCain, the uselessness of Palin, and yes even the stick-my-foot-in-my-mouth words of Bachmann, the silliness of Joe The Plumber. Since when does Joe the Plumber speak for me? Never again will I put my faith in the GOP or their idiotic tactics.
