Vito Grasso has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Utica College and a Master's degree in Public Administration from SUNY Albany. He also holds the Certified Association Executive professional designation conferred by the American Society of Association Executives. He has more than 30 years of professional experience in government and association management. He is in his 14 th year as executive vice president of the NYS Academy of Family Physicians – a statewide medical society representing more than 4,000 family physicians and medical students. He has previous experience as a legislative analyst with the NYS Assembly, as executive director of the New York Public Welfare Association and as executive director of the Capital District Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He is a member of the Brittonkill Central School District Board of Education and serves as a director of the University Club of Albany.

Elizabeth Swain has been CEO of the Community Health Care Association of New York State since July, 2005. In just over two years, Swain has enabled CHCANYS to realize its potential as one of the leading primary care associations in the country. Swain has also served as the Executive Director of Seattle's 45th St. Clinic, Regional Health Officer for the city at Public Health of Seattle and King County, Director of Public Policy and Governmental Affairs of the Community Health Plan of Washington and Assistant Vice President of Public Policy at the Community Health Network of Washington.
