Recently on the Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, Bernie Sanders was interviewed by Wilmore, alongside Grace Parra and Jordan Carlos.

The interview was great, however, the discussion got really interesting at 3:46 in the interview, when the subject of his potential Vice Presidential running mate came up....

Jordan Carlos

"A lot of people would like to see you run with someone that rhymes with Elizabeth Schwarren "

Larry Wilmore

"Have you put some thought in your running mate -- Would you ever hint at something like that?"

Bernie Sanders

"Now the last time I was here you got me to say that I was thinking about running and now you want..."

Larry Wilmore

"Something else is coming out!"

Grace Parra

"Yeah! Let's hear it!"

Bernie Sanders

"Elizabeth Warren is a very good friend of mine, I have known here for a long time, before she was in the Senate.

She is a great US Senator.

She has stood up to Wall Street.

She has stood up to the Big Money interests.

So, she uh, she and I will work together"

Grace Parra

"I love that!"

(CHEERS)

Larry Wilmore

"Feel the Bern everyone!"

This is a very important detail to note:

As the Vice President, Elizabeth Warren would be able to have

a much larger platform for her policy and ideas, all of which are similar to Senator Sanders.

Furthermore, the Vice President is the tie breaking vote in case of a Senate deadlock.

And as Vice President she would be experienced and primed to be

a future President as well.

We have had 30 plus years of a de-regulated economy, having a potential combination of Bernie Sanders followed by Elizabeth Warren as President would give the Middle and Working class the leadership and kind of reforms we had during the years of FDR.

And in this current situation where the working class has been needing some champions,
this is something that is long overdue and is welcome news...
