Lou Dobbs Demands to See Proof of Obama Conception
WASHINGTON DC -- CNN cable news pundit and radio host, Lou Dobbs, has joined the growing chorus of voices concerned about the legitimacy of the Obama presidency, based on lingering questions regarding the President's birth certificate and status as a natural-born U.S. citizen. "There are questions here, folks," said Dobbs on his nightly CNN program. "Questions that could be easily resolved if only the president would produce a copy of his birth certificate, a copy other than the one he already released." Not content with the document already certified by the State of Hawaii, or the notice of birth in published in the local papers, Dobbs speculated that this issue would remain relevant, until it was adequately dealt with to his satisfaction. Saying, "we need some real solid proof other than these 'documents.' A photo or footage of some kind, clearly depicting Obama's alleged parents engaging in some kind of unprotected intercourse or sexual congress while holding up an American newspaper with a date corresponding to his birth in August of 1961 would go a long way towards dispelling these rumors, but unfortunately the White House has been less than forthcoming on this matter."
Dobbs' demand for proof of the Obama conception picked up steam on the Hill, when several Republican Reps. co-sponsored a bill that would require all future presidential candidates to provide, "detailed video or photographic documentation of their mothers and fathers having sex." "This bill is about clearing up any potential doubts there may be in the future," said Rep. John Campbell (R-CA). A grainy or badly blurred copy will not do either, "As Americans we demand nothing less from our leaders than a clear, unaltered, unedited shot of the moment when their fathers' erect penis ejaculated sperm into their mothers' vagina on God-given American soil," Campbell stated, before qualifying his comment by declaring, "As far as I know, that is how U.S. children are made."
The "Where American Babies Come From Act" has gained support from Fox News and Talk Radio, including rising star Glenn Beck, who suggested setting up an independent "people's commission" of "patriots and citizens" to verify and bear witness to any sex act that could potentially produce an American president. "This is dangerous people" intoned Beck. "Mark my words, as we speak illegal immigrants and ACORN operatives are impregnating American women on foreign soil and planting forged documents ahead of time, so that in forty or fifty years they can get one of these 'children' elected president and complete their final goal of destroying liberty in America."
Proof of birth and conception may not go far enough for some, including former Presidential candidate Alan Keyes, who warned of a looming "constitutional, philosophical, and existential crisis" unless the "usurper" Obama could provide some proof of his actual existence. "My perception of the figure called 'Obama' does not necessarily correlate to an objective reality," said Keyes. "Obama's existence cannot be known unless identified through thoughts, memories, and feelings, all of which are subjective, and so it is not unreasonable to question the reality of his very being." It is likely that these questions about Obama's citizenship and alleged existence will continue until such a time as when The White House can prove something is not to someone who has experienced a reality of something that is.

It could be that there is no Barack Obama, that he's merely a Hollywood actor playing the part of President. That would be so low, a treasonous way to fool the American people.
But that'd be ridiculous, we Americans are too savvy to elect an actor for President...

Please look at some important facts on questions the Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) and the birth notices
In 1961, those birth notices were generated by the Hawaiian Health Department and sent to the local newspapers. According to a newsroom operator at the Hawaiian Star Bulletin - "We don't have an editor who handles birth and marriage announcements; we print what we receive from the Department of Health Vital Statistics System. This is how we've always done it."
In 1961 Hawaii, it was possible to obtain a birth certificate based on the affidavit of a family member. It is possible that Obama was not born in a Hawaiian hospital and that his birth was registered via affidavit at the health department.
Consider the possibility that Obama's mother was off to Kenya to go after her husband (who was already married) and she ends up having the baby in Kenya. When she calls home to tell the folks, her mother, who works for a lawyer is concerned that the baby have US citizenship. So she takes care of it and gets a birth certificate. It doesn't require a grand conspiracy that some day he may want to be president. It only requires a concerned grandmother who doesn't want to see her grandson be a Kenyan citizen.
As I understand the sequence of events, Obama wasn't registered as a home birth, and so there was no such affidavit from a family member--he was registered as having been born at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children in Honolulu. That hospital notified the Hawaiian Department of Health, which then placed a birth announcement in a couple local papers. We have no reason to believe, or even suspect, that Obama's parents or other relatives had anything to do with this process, other than for Obama's mother to have given birth. So one can say "it's possible" for this or that to have happened, but the documentation says what happened.
Was Obama born to a US citizen?
If his mother was a US citizen, he is a US citizen. End of discussion, it doesn't matter what country he was born in. John McCain was born in Panama, it is a matter of record, but because his parents are US citizens it doesn't matter, he is a natural citizen.
Unless you are trying to say that his father somehow planted a fertilized embryo from another woman who was not a US citizen into Obama's mother and that embryo became Obama? Is that what you are claiming?
I am a proud Canadian, watch CNN on a daily basis and I am consistently horrified night after night listening to Lou Dobbs - he is rude, condescending and comes across as a mean spirited person. I have always wondered how such a person is employed by CNN.
During your recent presidential campaign, I watched in utter disbelief Lou Dobbs at Values Voter Summit with a box of Obama waffles and listening to him say "My wife will love this" and thought to myself at that time how does CNN continue to employ this man?

It always astounds me when he says that he has an "Independent" perspective. In my opinion, he is far from "Independent" but rather a racist/right winger in Independent clothing.
In my humble opinion, Lou Dobbs is a bully and should have been fired years ago.
Is this a joke? When I first read this article I read it with a tone of sarcasim, as if Lou Dobbs, Glenn Beck and Alan Keys where making fun of these birthers. Their comments can not be serious - demand for proof of the Obama conception, etc. This is like a hilarious mock newscast on SNL...

The prescient Mark Twain once said , over one hundred years ago, " you'll never lose a bet underestimating the intelligence of the average American". He obviously knew the ancestral families of todays birthers.
Wow - all this talk about citizenship makes me question my OWN citizenship, since mine was acquired through naturalization, rather than by being born here (although, as an immigrant, I was BORNE here - heh heh).
Thankfully, I have a genuine US passport, so that PROVES my citizenship. Phew!
But wait... President Obama has a passport too, and yet HIS citizenship is being brought into question.
So... back to Square One - the passport, apparently, doesn't prove a thing.
But in Obama's case, the issue doesn't hinge on his passport, but rather his birth certificate (confirmed by Hawaii as genuine), and announcements of birth in local newspapers, supplied by the Hawaiian Department of Health, after the Hawaiian hospital where Obama was born sent them notice of Obama's birth in that hospital.
...if you were to interpret "Natural Born" as a birth occurring on US soil. The constitution provides a hole where you dump your idiotic logic. Hate is hate, no matter what you may think of the rules.

Is Lou Dobbs really an American citizen. I would bet he would proudly show his birth certificate, but how do we really know that it is not a forgery?
I would also like to see Mr. Dobb's tax return, did he really pay them and are all of his deductions real?
I also heard that Mr. Dobbs never actually graduated from High School and his diploma and grades were forged so he could avoid the draft to get into college?

I used to watch Lou Dobbs until he started his steady spiral downward. He claims to be independent but he has become a right-winger. CNN is showing it's true bias by continuing him on the air. I used to watch CNN a lot - now I watch MSNBC, Yes, they are more liberal but they do include some of the other side. Just the fact that they include Pat Buchanan shows they are at least willing to include the crazies in their information cycles.
Easiest thing in the world, be a critic. Lou makes his living at stirring it. I used to watch him as well until I realized Lou new it all. Guess he can't afford the drop in pay to run for office, where he might have to state his own position and solutions.
As another poster stated, this whole "birther" conspiracy has nothing at all to do with a birth certificate, it's simply because there are some people that can't yet handle the color of our presidents skin. It wouldn't matter if these "birther" people were shown the actual place where President Obama WAS born, documents supporting that place, medical people attending the birth, the "birthers" still wouldn't believe it, just like they can't believe President Obama is occupying the White House. It's racism nothing more. The only thing lacking with these people is the sheets that they don't wear when they speak about a birth certificate.
I am thinking the same thing. Especially when one lady interrupted with "we want our country back." I guess they adored Bush and his looting and dictatorial ways.
