William Wagner is a Master's in Public Affairs candidate at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School studying U.S. foreign policy towards the Middle East. A fellow in Princeton's Scholars in the Nation's Service Initiative, William's main research interest has been the impact of new media on politics in Egypt and the Arab world. He has received multiple awards from Princeton's Department of Near Eastern Studies and Woodrow Wilson School for research on the liberalization of Egyptian media and the development of sub-national governance structures in Afghanistan. He received a B.A. from the Woodrow Wilson School with highest honors in 2010. William has studied Arabic, Farsi, and Spanish.
