Obama Picks Black Woman to Be Surgeon General

President Barack Obama has picked a Black woman who is a rural Alabama family physician to be surgeon general. Dr. Regina Benjamin, who made headlines with tough determination to rebuild her nonprofit medical clinic in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, will be America's next top doc, according to the Associated Press.
