Method Man Could Face Time for Back Taxes

Wu-Tang Clan rapper Method Man, 38, is the latest celebrity to be wanted by the IRS. According to the New York Post, the Staten Island, New York,  native turned himself in to authorities on Monday for possible tax evasion. He could be facing felony charges for failing to pay close to $33,000 in back personal income taxes. The Post also reported last March that Method Man's Lincoln Navigator was repossessed for IRS debt (he owed close to $53,000 at that time). But guess what Method Man is blaming his failure to pay taxes on? Weed. Let the rapper tell it, "Because I got high, I forgot to pay. It was stupid." Method Man, whose real name in Clifford Smith, could serve four years in prison.—Nazenet Habtezghi
