Honor Flight Submitted for Academy Award Consideration

Months after breaking the Guinness World Record for world's largest movie premiere at Miller Park, Honor Flight prepares for an even bigger stage: big screens across America.

The film, Honor Flight -- One Last Mission, has gained amazing attention following the initial screening and has been submitted for Academy Award consideration for Best Documentary. In advance of the film's national release, HonorFlightTheMovie.com was launched where people can pledge to see the film, buy movie tickets, and sign up to bring Honor Flight to new communities.

Support Veterans and the Honor Flight cause by watching the new trailer and pledging to see the documentary.

What is Honor Flight?

World War II veterans are dying at the rate of one every 90 seconds and Honor Flight is racing against the clock to honor them. Honor Flight flies veterans, at no cost to them, to Washington D.C. to see their war memorials. For many of the vets, this is the last chapter of their lives... for some, it is their final paragraph.

When a veteran leaves us, they take their stories of history and enormous bravery with them. In a decade, there will be no more WWII veterans left to honor... hence the urgency and the importance of the Honor Flight mission.
