• Thursday: Pressed Juicery Opens

Downtowners looking for a healthy pick-me-up should head to Pressed Juicery, now open in the Cooper Building at Los Angeles and 9th streets. The deal with this uber-fashionable juicy spot, as opposed to others, is that it cold presses the produce in a hydraulic juicer, which they claim gets every last drop, rendering it smooth, silky and full of nutrients. Pressed Juicery has four locations with more on the way, plus home delivery. [Also see: LA's 10 Best Restaurants]
