The search for a good boot is a lot like the search for a good man: just when you think you've found him....But I digress. Get a gander at a very good boot, which will never disappoint: the Bambi boot by Cole, Rood & Haan Co. The calf length lace-up is crafted from rich, supple leather and a sturdy sole which makes it at once fashionable and functional. It is one of a several stylish shoes in the debut collection for Cole, Rood & Haan Co.

The luxury shoe line was inspired by the rich history of 1920s Chicago based cobblers, Mr. Cole, Mr. Rood and Mr. Haan. The three friends and business partners were inspired by the jazz age which was in full swing at the time. As such oxfords, booties and boat shoes have whimsical, antique touches which give the shoes the air of being imported from another era. Find them at special boutique shops nationwide or online at Cole, Rood & Haan Co.

Where are they made and how much do they cost? What I'm getting at is whether the workers who make this boot earn its sale price in a year.
