This Oscar seasons the gifting suites were much more varied then ever. Some were traditional gifting suites while others focused more on beauty, pampering treatments and putting together red carpet looks. While most suites piggy-packed on Oscars, others tied themselves to the Independent Spirit Awards and even Valentine's Day. One company chose to send nominees a bag of goodies directly, eliminating the need for a suite entirely. Below are some highlights:

The Secret Room Events and SPCA LA's Red Carpet Style Lounge in honor of the 83rd Academy Awards at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel:

Boasting their best year ever, the Secret Room featured big ticket items like a two night stay an overwater bungalow in Tahiti from Le Meridien Bora Bora and Tahiti Legends; the unique such as Mirafit, a stimulant free diateray supplement that prevents the absorption of dietary fat; and the classy - like Wine Road's gift bags containing everything needed for the wine lover included tumbler glasses, bottles of read and white wines, wine opener, six mini-bottles of various wines for immediate tasting, dark chocolates and gift certificates to wineries including Passalacqua, Optima and Chalk Hill Estate in Healdsburg, CA.

Still more goodies: gold cuffs and drop earring made from banana peels by McGowan McClain, J. Edward cosmetics including antioxidant-packed lip glosses; Dr. Michael Seidman's Body Language Vitamins and skincare products from Ligne St. Barth, Hylunia and Eminence.

If that wasn't enough, celebs also left with special goodies bags packed by the Secret Room, which included stuffed animals from Webkinz, bikinis by Salt Swimwear, pajamas by Scanti, silk scarves from Silk Culture, rings from Nancy Choate, earrings by Barbara Garwood, dog treats by Wet Noses and Natural Balance, and gift certificates for Dysport and Restylane with Dr. Nima L. Shemirani.

GBK Oscar Gifting Lounge at the W Hotel in Hollywood:

Big ticket items: ComforPedic mattresses and pillows; infared saunas from Far North Infrared Wellness, a seven night stay Zamani Retreat Kempinski in Africa and the Kefty portable gym, a pilates-type apparatus that enables you to have a full body workout in your own home.

Awesome items: the Sensa weight loss system where one sprinkle the product on food to curb appetite and lose weight, Tei Spa Essentials' platinum age firming tool, The Point, which uses a galvanic current to treat fine lines and wrinkles.

Other items: Designer stereo headphones and MP3 video players from Ematic; Rumba watches, Pitahaya swimsuits, Glimmer Body Art's Party in a Box Glitter Tattoo Kit, red carpet clutches by Felicity; Umi children's shoes; MegaFood's whole food supplements.

LG Cinema 3D HDTV Gift Lounge, backstage at the Film Independent 2011 Spirit Awards produced by On Three Productions:

Big ticket items: the LG Cinema 3D HDTV will be given to each celebrity who stops by. On behalf of them, LG made a significant contribution to Film Independent diversity program, Project: Involve.

Other items: a one-year membership to Crunch Gym, a one-year supply of Altoids and Pure Dark chocolates, a weekend stay in a one-bedroom suite a at the Ritz-Carleton New York in Central Park, designer sunglasses from Marchon Inc., a one year pass to see movies for free at any AMC theaters across the country, a one-year membership to Crunch Gym, throw blankets from Giraffe at Home, New Balance running shoes, a Vera Bradley Tote and a Nautica Beach Essentials Tote Bag that included men and womens' swimwear along with a beach towel.


The Madison & Mulholland Ultimate Nominee gift bag: No suite, this year the company sent bags directly to select Hollywood stars including Mila Kunis, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, Nicole Kidman, Halle Berry, Amy Adams, Michelle Williams, Julianne Moore, Helena Bonham Carter and Annette Bening.

In an unusual twist, certain items from the bag will be featured and offered for sale on TownHog.com - a coupon website - at 50% off. Others will be for sale at JaneRecommends.com. Additionally, one lucky subscriber will have the opportunity to win the entire contents of bag on Town Hog.

Roger Neal Style Hollywood's 15th Annual Academy Awards Ultimate Beauty Suite at the L'Ermitage Hotel:

Those celebs who had not yet decided on their final gowns could peruse fashion designer Shekhar Rahate's haute couture Oscar collection, baubles from Amyn of Jewelry on 7th and purses from Timmy Woods handbags.

Beauty and pampering treatments included: on-site facials by G.M Collin Skincare Paris, eyelash extensions by Daniel Dinh and his Long Mi Lash Eyelashes, foot and body massages by Bao Beverly Hills and make-up applications by Shaboom cosmetics.

Awesome items: light weight silicone rubber watches with interchangeable bands and faces from Crow Watches, gift certificates to EZ Bloomers flower service and Mieke Roover's Heaven on Earth face cream, made from the diamonds of shooting stars which were culled from the actual fallen meteorites.

Guests left with a goodie bag chock full items including their choice of a stay at Belleek Castle in Ireland, Hotel Chevel in Paso Robles, CA or Tally Ho Inn in Carmel, CA. The Third Annual Valentine Romance 'Sneak Peek' Oscar suite at Café La Boheme:

Top items: Traveler's Choice travelware: luggage for men and women including hardcases, duffels and garment bags. The fashionable rolling travel satchel from Caribbean Joe looks is gorgeous tote by day, but comes with wheels and a trolly handle to become an easy carry-on with a laptop sleave and multiple compartments.

Original items: Not Just Any Old Day jewelry was there with their signature plated calendar keys. The company's jeweler was on hand to personalize each key for guests. Handbag designer Emile Sloan new Mia Ringlet, an all-in-one wallet and cell phone case that even holds a place for your lipstick. The Cardiwrap by Kymaro that can be worn as cardigan, wrap, shawl and scarf. A how-to-book booklet shows 56 ways of wearing it.

Other items: skincare products from Jurlique, Stemulation, make-up setting spray by Model in a Bottle, eyelash conditioner from Maximum Lash, Kamasutra powders, oils and the newly-launched lip-gloss, candles form Gold Canyon, red carpet clutches from Menbur,

In addition to all of this, guests left with a goodie bag filled with essentials including CellCeuticals sunscreen, Buddha Balm, gift certificates for complimentary blow-outs by Angus Mitchell salon in Beverly Hills, Blue Angel vodka, Experia's Thorlo padded socks among many other items.


Kari Feinstein's 2011 Academy Awards Style Lounge at The Montage Beverly Hills:

Gilan Luxury Suite at the Four Seasons Hotel:

This by appointment-ony suite had Istanbul based Gilan jewerly showcasing their red carpet jewels just ahead of it's official Los Angeles launch in March at Sacks in Beverly Hills. Keeping with this year's red carpet trend of statement pieces, Gilan featured such "wow" pieces as a cascading ruby and diamond platinum cuff with rose gold details (valued at just under $100K) and diamond cocktail rings (valued at just under $200K).

Additionally, make-up artist Taylor Chang-Babaian was schooling visitors in the subtle art of applying false lashes, doing personal applications using her Kre-at Beauty line of lashes. Clients left with products from the line, as well as her new book, Style Eyes.
