2011 Golden Globes Gifting Suites

Gifting suites, pampering suites, lounges....whatever you want to call them, the end result is the same - celebs get to indulge in some good food, fun drinks, a manicure here, a massage there and leave with bags full of fun products while contributing to charity organizations at the same time.

In honor of the Golden Globes (and the upcoming Sundance Film Festival) here is a smattering of some of the suites that reared their fashionable heads in the last week:

Access Hollywood's 5th Annual "Stuff You must..." Lounge at the Sofitel Hotel:

Highlights: Lifetime subscription to Netflix allowing you to watch unlimited movies and TV shows streamed over the internet or via DVD; Altec Lansing Octiv Stage speaker doc for the ipad; canvas portraits created from your actual DNA or fingerprints by DNA 11; luxurious throw blankets from Giraffe at Home; Slim-Fast Red Carpet Ready Gift pack including bars and shakes along with a digital camera to track your transformation.

Other items: Numero Uno VIP Fan Cards that allow you to request a variety of UNO games delivered to you whenever or wherever you are, eyewear including the newly launched Lacoste and Calvin Klein 3D sunglasses - from Marchon Inc., kids toys like Zoobles and Liv Fashion Dolls from Spin Master, Wonka Chocolates, footwear from Pretty Ballerina, Ursula Mascaro and New Balance, watches by Jorg Gray and totes by Jessica Kagan Kushman. Guest could also indulge in a variety of beauty services including blowouts and manicures from the CVS/pharmacy Beauty Club featuring products from Nexxus and Maybelline among others. (CVS donated $100,000 to Best Buddies and Lollipop Theater Network on behalf of the stars who stopped by.)

GBK Golden Globes' Gifting Lounge at the London Hotel:

Unusual items: Isotoner gloves with fingertips that are touchscreen compatible; monogrammed yoga mats from My Custom Yoga Mat; Alcohol infused whipped cream from Kingfish Spirits; hands-free wearable camcorder from Looxie; water-filled workout tubes that use H2O as resistance from Attitube; Nano Magnetics super magnets.

Gift certificates to: Zamani Retreat Kempinski, a holistic health retreat in Africa; one -week stay in the Caribbean from Caribbean Living Magazine; online shopping club Beyond the Rack; chauffeured services from Exclusive Sedan Service; auto detailing from Miracle Details; Nescafe Dolce Gusto Circolo single serve coffee machine; men's grooming at The Shave of Beverly Hills; cheese, farm tour and cooking classes Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Co.; classes or shows at Joy Theatre; fine gifts from Cambria Cove.

Other items: Marquez de Valencia tequila, bamboo organic lounge and sleepwear from Bamjamz, jewelry by Misaki, money clips and pens by William Henry Studio, clutches from Menbur, healing bracelets from Essence, skincare from Elysee Scientific Cosmetics, shapewear from TC Fine Intimates, Ron White's latest collection of All Day Heels, watches from Rumba Time, Have Faith swimwear, Umi children's shoes. For your pets there was all natural dog and cat food from Nulo that's high protein and filler-free.

Fun fact: Nano also created a 600-sculputure out of 550,000 spherical magnets that was modeled after the Golden Globe award. A team from the Guinness Book of World Records came by an awarded Nano Magnetics the title of "Largest Magnetic Sculpture."

Pampering treatments and beauty services: foot massages and reflexology from Bao Foot Spa , multiple layered eyelash extensions from Long mi Lashes by Daniel, various types of facial treatments from G.M. Collin including the Derm Renewal Clinical Peel, make-up applications by ShaBoom cosmetics.

Yummy treats and drinks: Dolce Touch vodka, Bing H20 bottled water, Arlana's Gourmet Cookies, Famous Cupcakes, Edelweiss Chocolates, Nicobella vegan dark chocolate truffles, Wardell's gourmet BBQ sauce.

Billed as a pampering suite, rather than a gifting suite, celebs did get a thank-you bag for coming, which included such items as Kate Mesta jewelry, Joico hair products and a gift certificate an evening at Baby Rock Nightclub followed by first class overnight accommodations.

Secret Room Events' Annual Golden Globe Awards Style Lounge at the SLS Hotel:

Goodies included: skincare from N3Y Japanese, Nubar, GlyMed Plus; shoes from Holster, JellyPop and Melissa; Sprout Watches; adult toys from Passion Parties; bras from NuBra Seamless.

Celebs left with additional gift bags that included purses from Native Honey, underwear from Priscilla Jade's Little Black Panty Collection, organic beauty products from Herbology, energy improving tights from GOGO by Therafirm, face cream by La Vie Celeste, biodegradable doggy waste bags from GoECOlife, facial masks from My Facial Works and gift certificates for Tocs watches and private pilates sessions at Costa Coast Pilates.

Think PR's 5th Annual Pre-Sundance Film Festival 2011 Gifting Suite at the W Hotel in Westwood. (Okay, so it's not technically a Golden Globes suite, but with the Park City festival opening this week, piggy backing on the various Golden Globes is a brilliant idea.)

Highlights: Water-resistant Australian sheepskin boots and slippers from EMU, a whole smorgasbord of goods from Lipsy London including party dresses, faux fur jackets, jewelry and perfume.
