Vice Presidential Debate
The “Last Week Tonight” host turned the Ohio senator’s words against him.
Maya Rudolph's version of the VP tried to keep her cool while watching her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz, gaffe his way through the evening against Sen. JD Vance.
The Fox News morning show probably didn't see that coming.
Alyssa Farah Griffin said the vice presidential debate probably won't move the needle in the election, but it did solidify something in MAGA world.
WHAT'S HAPPENING
Picked to be Trump’s attack dog, Vance appeared to spend the one VP debate trying to make himself look more relatable and less, well, “weird.”
The Battle of the Midwestern Nice Guys saw two different versions of "nice," among other things.
The vice presidential nominee also refused to say whether he thought Donald Trump had won the 2020 election.
"Christ have mercy," the Ohio senator said in response to the Minnesota governor's story.
The subtle fashion statement, seen in quick flashes on the screen, appeared to be a nod to Taylor Swift's endorsement of Kamala Harris.
"The rules that you guys weren't going to fact check," Vance complained before moderators muted the candidates' mics.
