The largest U.S. meat company, Tyson Foods Inc. (TSN.N), reported a quarterly profit on Monday, compared with a year-earlier loss, due to better results in its beef, pork and chicken units.
For the fiscal third quarter ended June 30, Tyson earned $111 million, or 31 cents per share, compared with a year-earlier loss of $52 million, or 15 cents per share.
