Forget Pooh: The Tao Of Leonardo

In Western intellectual history, the Renaissance--a period stretching from the beginning of the 15th to the end of the 16th century--marks the transition from the Middle Ages to the modern world. In the 1460s, when the young Leonardo da Vinci received his training as painter, sculptor and engineer in Florence, Italy, the world view of his contemporaries was still entangled in medieval thinking.
