Congress Questions Major League Baseball Over Steroid Testing

A Congressional oversight committee Thursday submitted questions to Major League Baseball and its players union asking whether steroid testing was suspended during the 2004 season and, if so, why they did not tell Congress about it during a 2005 public hearing.

The committee also asked whether some players were given notice in 2004 of when testing would occur, and, if that was the case, why the committee was not told of that as well.
