Richard Rodriguez: City Aviation Chief Reportedly Becoming CTA Head

Inside sources report that Chicago Aviation Commissioner Richard Rodriguez has emerged as the leading candidate to succeed Ron Huberman as president of the Chicago Transit Authority.
Perhaps equally important in the mayor's eyes, the CTA job needs to be filled fast if Chicago is to shore up its bid to win the 2016 Olympics, a decision the International Olympics Committee is scheduled to make this fall.
