Gingrich: Sotomayor "Racist" Charge Has "No Evidence" In Decisions (VIDEO)

GOP war-horse Newt Gingrich recently walked back remarks calling Judge Sonia Sotomayor a racist. Now he's admitted to Fox News' Sean Hannity that the claim was based entirely on a line from a speech Sotomayor made. "There's no evidence in her court decisions" that she is a racist, the former Speaker of the House said. On the bench, he added, she's "not nearly as radical" as she is in her speeches and writing. The only evidence he has for this radicalism and racism, despite his insinuations to the contrary, come from one speech.
