Ex-Giant Star's Gun Case Postponed Until September

The weapons-possession case against professional football player Plaxico Burress has been adjourned until September. The former New York Giant was arrested on November 29 after accidentally shooting himself in the leg at a Manhattan night club. The gun was registered in Florida, but New York does not recognize out-of-state gun permits. Burress, who is out on $100,000 bail, faces up to 3 and a half years in prison.
