'Spiderman' Climbs Petronas Towers Without Safety Equipment (VIDEO)

The french climber Alain Robert (AKA 'Spiderman') has finally scaled the 1483ft high Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, and he left the safety equipment at home. It was Robert's third attempt climbing the towers, and it took him just over two hours to do. The perils of the fall are not the only ones Robert faced. As the BBC reported:

On both previous occasions - in March 1997 and again in 2007 - he was arrested on reaching the 60th floor but released without charge.

"With due respect to Malaysia, I came to finish something," he told news agency Reuters before he set out.
