Blagojevich May Be Working For Trump On "Celebrity Apprentice"

Rod Blagojevich may be taking a second shot at reality TV.

In what has the makings of an epic showdown between egos and hairdos, the impeached former governor will reportedly be a contestant on the upcoming season of Donald Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice."

The Sun-Times reports that Blagojevich will begin shooting his paid appearances later this month.

Blagojevich's spokesman, Glenn Selig, refused to comment on what he called "rumors" to the Sun-Times. He did not respond to repeated emails and phone calls from the Huffington Post. A spokesman for the show was also unable to confirm Blagojevich's participation to the Tribune.

Blagojevich was impeached and removed from office in January amid a federal investigation into whether he tried to sell President Obama's Senate seat for personal gain, among other charges.

Since then, Blagojevich has written a "tell-all" book and taken a variety of side gigs to make money. He tried to appear on the NBC reality show "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" in Costa Rica this summer but a federal judge denied his request. His wife, Patti, took his place.
