If you, unlike me, have ever considered Afghanistan as a potential tourist destination, check out the video below for some helpful advice for a vacation in the war torn country, thanks to the UN.
The UN admits that "war torn Afghanistan is an unlikely tourist destination," but goes on to say "there is hope that its world heritage sites and the first national park can attract tourists and help the national economy."
Whilst such developments may be a long way off, the video illustrates that while Afghanistan may be far from having a Kabul Hilton, there is potential there.
Check out the semi-destroyed Buddhist statues, blown up by the Taliban in 2001, or the mountain landscapes that the UN compares, reasonably, to the Rocky's.
