Patrick Hughes Bests Kirk In Conservative PAC Straw Poll

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Patrick Hughes came out the favored candidate in a straw poll conducted among members of a conservative PAC Thursday.

Hughes emerged ahead of Congressman Mark Kirk, the North Shore Republican considered the Republican frontrunner, among TK members of the Citizens for a Concerned America PAC.

"I am very pleased to have won the straw poll and anticipate, with great enthusiasm, the official endorsement of Concerned Citizens for America PAC," Hughes said in a statement. "It is wonderful to know that our message of mainstream Republican values is getting out and is being so well-received."
