Fox News reported last night on "jungle golf" and other golf-related phenomena in Florida resulting from the recession. Many golfing communities struggle to pay for course maintenance, which can reach $2 million per year. Courses that cannot afford the maintenance can quickly deteriorate into unrecognizable swaths of foliage. The report shows Forest Lake Country Club, which is overrun with out-of-control vegetation and strewn with tires. Some courses are trying to lure new players by offering shorter rounds and 10-minute lessons. Watch the full report below for more.
