Texas Rangers reliever C.J. Wilson is an active Twitterer. He has nearly 12,000 followers and has written dozens of tweets today alone. Maybe it's not surprising then that he candidly shared his thoughts about a trade rumor involving him. Hearing that the Arizona Diamondbacks offered catcher Chris Snyder to obtain his services, Wilson tweeted: "borderline offended by ax's offer...dude hit 200!"
Wilson is correct: Snyder hit .200 exactly, but at least he walked 32 times in 202 plate appearances to boost his on-base percentage to .333. As for Wilson, he can take comfort in the fact that the Rangers did not bite on the offer.
