Ali Wentworth appeared on "Good Morning America" Wednesday for an interview about the movie "It's Complicated" — but she didn't leave without making a few jabs at her husband, new "GMA" host George Stephanopoulos.
"You all are the shining example of opposites attract," Robin Roberts said of the couple. "How did you guys meet?"
"We were set up on a blind date," Wentworth said. "I, of course, knew who he was, and wasn't interested, and he didn't know who I was. And we met at Barney's for lunch....and I had no expectations. I don't even think I took a shower that day, honey! Sorry!"
The couple was engaged two months later, she said.
Wentworth said that her heart still goes "pitter-patter" when he walks in the door, and then said, "Now I better get a good Christmas present, George!"
Wentworth added that her husband cried over the movie "Enchanted" and joked about their family sleeping situation.
"We all sleep in the same bed," Wentworth said of her, George, their two daughters, and their dog. "When we wake up in the morning, we're usually covered in pee, and we don't know whose it is."
