On new year's eve, the Department of Defense posted a video of law enforcement officers getting drunk as a "sobriety training" session. The caption that accompanies the video reads as follows:
" People around the world will be celebrating the new year tonight, and law enforcement personnel will be out in force keeping an eye out for drunk drivers."
In the video, soldiers get drunk on Crown Royal Whiskey until they can't walk straight, and are then given sobriety tests. The idea is that this will help military police recognize signs of drunkenness.
