Trucker Kills Four Developmentally Disabled Adults In Accident

Icy roadway conditions led to a brutal head-on collision outside of Springfield, Ohio on Friday morning, as a tractor-trailer slammed into a van, killing four passengers.

According to Chicago Breaking News, the van was carrying adults from the Creative Learning Workshops, an organization that provides services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The center was sending clients home early because of the bad weather.

The six other passengers in the van were reported injured; the driver of the truck, Zygmunt Wieckowski of Chicago, was also hospitalized after sustained minor injuries.
