FIJI Water Donates Drinking Water To Haiti Earthquake Victims

As immediate needs for clean water and food mount in Haiti, FIJI Water has stepped forward to donate over 136,000 liters of bottled water to earthquake victims.

The company hopes to ease the needs of tens of thousands of people gathered in open spaces with no access to safe water.

The bottled water will be air dropped into Haiti by the U.S. military from their base in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

"The contribution of bottled water has been marked for humanitarian aid and will be distributed directly to the people who are most in need to quench thirst, improve hygiene and save lives," FIJI Water described in a press release Thursday.

They plan to keep up-to-date information on the delivery and distribution of the water on their FIJI Water blog.
