Restaurant Week 2010: The Best Places To Try On The Cheap

It's that time of year again, when foodies and non-foodies alike come together to celebrate cheap eats at some of New York's finest dining establishments.

New York City Winter Restaurant Week started this week and runs through February 7th.

Originally created as a one-off event for the 1992 Democratic National Convention, restaurant week has stuck it out for nearly two decades and is more popular than ever. Diners are offered a three-course, prix-fixe meal for $24.07 at lunchtime, and $35 for dinner. The restaurants range from the city's newest, hippest joints to the old stalwarts of yore.

The Huffington Post has selected 10 restaurants we're most excited to visit during this special time. Please let us know what you think of them, and leave a comment if we missed one!
