WATCH: Must-See Videos From White House's Channel

There's the White House that's framed by the non-stop, tit-for-tat coverage of the mainstream press and bloggers. Then there's the White House that's framed by the new media team headed by Macon Phillips, a veteran of the innovative, online-focused Obama campaign. Housed at the Old Executive Office Building, which is adjacent to the White House, Phillips and the White House new media team have uploaded nearly 500 videos on the president's official YouTube channel. The channel has been viewed more than 3.1 million times.

The latest video, given exclusively to HuffPostTech, chronicles what staffers call "Game Day" -- when the president makes an official trip, this time to Elyria, in northeastern Ohio.

With the release of the White House's first iPhone app -- and the roll out of a more robust mobile video strategy -- here are 7 videos on the White House's official video channel that captures the scope of what Phillips and his team are trying to accomplish. Collectively, they've been viewed some 340,000 times. More importantly, the videos provide an unprecedented and often intimate view of the White House at work in the Internet-driven 21st century. Watch and tell us what you think.
