It appears Twitter is down!

Are you having problems tweeting? If so, it's not just you.

Users are tweeting that they are experiencing outages with Twitter. One Twitterer, AnalogC, wrote: 'Twitter has been over capacity for like 20 mins, so something major must be going down. But I have no way of finding out what it is [...] '

The Twitter homepage is not loading properly, but instead displays an image of the Twitter 'fail whale' with a caption that reads, 'Twitter is over capacity.'

You can also check if Twitter is down on the Twitter status blog here. Although users report problems with the site, the blog does not currently list any outages.
