Central Park Tree Limb Kills Man: Man Dead After Snow-Covered Tree Limb Hits Him In Head Near Literary Way

A man was killed by a falling snow-covered tree branch in Central Park earlier this afternoon.

The unidentified man was declared dead on the scene near the park's Literary Way. News reports differ on whether he was found around 5th Avenue and 67th Street or 69th Street.

In July of 2009 a Google employee was knocked into a coma by a falling tree branch while he was walking through the park.
