Sally Quinn Loses Washington Post Print Column On Entertaining

"The Party" is over for Sally Quinn — at least in print.

The legendary doyenne of the Washington social scene has lost "The Party," her Washington Post print column on entertaining, after a controversial column last week.

"Sally and I have agreed that the column will return to what had been its original focus on faith, family and entertaining and will appear online at "On Faith," a section of washingtonpost.com that Sally guides," editor Marcus Brauchli told Washington City Paper's Erik Wemple.

Last week, Quinn came under fire for using her column to address gossip items about her family — namely, that she had scheduled her son's wedding deliberately to interfere with her husband's granddaughter's wedding.

Her husband's son, Ben Bradlee Jr. and his ex-wife, ABC News' Martha Raddatz, both reportedly complained to Washington Post publisher Katharine Weymouth about the column, according to Politico's Michael Calderone.
