Six Word Memoirs: James Frey, Frank McCourt And Others Write Their Lives In Six Words (PHOTOS, POLL)

Six word memoirs have become a literary trend in the past few years. The challenge, created by SMITH Magazine, is to write a memoir in just six words, and thousands of writers -- from big names like Dave Eggers to high schoolers in English classes -- have taken it on, with some pretty amazing results. SMITH Magazine has collected some of the best memoirs from famous and obscure authors alike in two books. The most recent, "It All Changed in an Instant," edited by Rachel Fershleiser and Larry Smith, was published in January. From James Frey to Frank McCourt to some of those writers you've never heard of, check out some highlights from the book in the slideshow below.
