Baby Survives Shooting In Parents' Suicide Pact

A baby girl survived for three days with a bullet in her chest in Argentina after her parents killed themselves and her brother in a global warming-based suicide pact, according to reports.

The 7-month-old baby was found beside the bodies of her parents, Francisco Lotero, 56, and Miriam Colleti, 23, and her two-year-old brother in the city of Goya. Paramedics had discovered the bodies after police received calls from neighbors concerned about the smell in the house. The baby was rushed to the hospital where doctors removed the bullet, which had narrowly missed her internal organs.

Lotero had apparently been known in the community as a healer, and was described by one neighbor as "very jealous" of his much younger wife. A note was reportedly found at the scene, claiming the family were scared of global warming.
