While checking out the Balenciaga show's arrivals, we noticed one stylista was very conspicuously absent: French Vogue's editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld. WWD kind of has an explanation: Roitfeld and her team are actually banned from Balenciaga's shows.
Roitfeld said, "We're blacklisted. It's too bad, it's a beautiful house and it's French. I hope that it's not forever." She added that the fashion label doesn't advertise in her pages or lend clothes for editorials. But Roitfeld didn't mention what started the conflict. Quel mystère!
