iPad Launch: Cheline Lundin, 25, First In Line In Chicago; Hopes It Will Be 'A Best Friend'

Somebody had to be first. It might as well be Cheline Lundin.

The 25-year-old Bucktown woman was first in line at the Apple store on Michigan Avenue Friday morning to get the city's first iPad, the much-anticipated Apple tablet reader that doesn't go on sale until 9 a.m. Saturday.

In fact, Lundin showed up Thursday afternoon, but a few conversations with the store manager convinced her to return Friday morning.

When asked what she was looking forward to in the iPad, she said: "A best friend, really."
