Somebody had to be first. It might as well be Cheline Lundin.
The 25-year-old Bucktown woman was first in line at the Apple store on Michigan Avenue Friday morning to get the city's first iPad, the much-anticipated Apple tablet reader that doesn't go on sale until 9 a.m. Saturday.
In fact, Lundin showed up Thursday afternoon, but a few conversations with the store manager convinced her to return Friday morning.
When asked what she was looking forward to in the iPad, she said: "A best friend, really."
